Mueller Homes is honored to be featured in the What’s Up Annapolis, Eastern Shore, and Central Maryland issues with a Studio McGee inspired home in the heart of one of Annapolis’ most charming communities. Together with Mueller Homes and architect Stephanie Cook at Speight Studio Architects, they collaborated to create a timeless work of art.
This story begins with a young family from New York who had very specific design goals for their next home. Most importantly, they wanted the home to transform as their young children grow up, in the home. According to the article, “The home provides a blueprint for what happens when messaging, best practices, and exceptionally keen design advice combine to not only build a home that meets the moment, but one that will help create the moments that define the lives dwelling within it.”
The home is described as thoughtfully transitional but it’s easy to see the McGee influence in the design choices. Traditional elements blend seamlessly with modern style and the color palette brings in all the warmth of nature, with the forest and water just beyond.
