St. Michael's Project Featured in What's Up Magazine

Whats Up Annapolis Magazine November 2022Mueller Homes recently enjoyed the privilege of being featured in the December issue of What’s Up Annapolis Magazine with our client’s project in St. Michael’s Maryland.  The article entitled “All in Good Time:  Reviving a Federal Farmhouse Original” featured the story behind a home build on the banks of Harris Creek.   This particular project was a blend of old meets new as our client’s wished to retain portions of the original 1820 farmhouse.

In collaboration with architect Lars Erickson of East Bay Construction Services, Mueller was able to transform the 75 acre property to a family retreat that will host gatherings for decades to come.  Read the entire article and view all of the photos from this project in our gallery.

“There are so many great details associated with this custom build, but most importantly it showcases the breadth of work and capabilities that have made Mueller Homes a mainstay in the Annapolis and Eastern Shore communities,” notes PJ Mueller, President of Mueller Homes.  He goes on to say, “Creating the Federal farmhouse style that our client desired required a unique approach to the custom home building process.”  This is evidenced by the custom millwork in every room of the home.

In addition, the original farmhouse structure would have to be moved and portions reclaimed for use in the new home design.  You can see these elements with the original staircase, restored fireplaces, reclaimed hardware, and so much more.  Modern elements such as the pool and invisible screened porch add to the functionality of the home for years to come.

Mueller Homes takes pride in working with each client to handcraft luxury custom homes that are as unique as the lifestyle of each homeowner.  Bringing over 40 years of industry knowledge and experience, Mueller has also written a book on the subject!  Download your free e-copy or obtain the hardcover on Amazon!  If you’d like more information on the custom building process, a referral to an architect, or a design consultation, contact MuellerHomes.com today!
